Herbert Druilhet RN, DNP, FNP-BC

Herbert Druilhet RN, DNP, FNP-BC serves as the Director of Clinical Operations for Lafayette General Medical Doctors (LGMD), a 60 physician multi-specialty group in Lafayette Louisiana. He began his career as a registered nurse in emergency medicine. He obtained a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 1998 and earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership in 2013. Herbert has over 20 years of clinical, information technology, and leadership experience. Most recently, Herbert and his team worked to improve the quality of care of patients through their Patient-Centered Medical Home initiatives. These initiatives focused on health prevention, chronic care disease management, care coordination, and consumer education. These transformations resulted in seven clinics receiving recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home. Herbert and his team continues quality improvement efforts through participation in insurer sponsored quality improvement programs and through the upcoming implementation of their system’s Population Health Platform within the electronic health record.
