Biography

Jeroen Peters received his RN degree from the HAN University of Applied Sciences, Nijmegen, the Netherlands, his MScN degree from the Maastricht University, Maastricht, the Netherlands, and his PhD degree from the Erasmus MC University, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. His research focused initially on assessment and treatment of pain in infants and (mentally disabled) children, nowadays his research focusses on efficacy of didactic efficacy of the didactic chooses that were made, and on the tasks, position, and leadership of NP in the Netherlands. He is currently program director and research at the Master Advanced Nursing Practice at the HAN University of Applied Sciences, Nijmegen, the Netherlands and chair of the Dutch College of Program Directors Master Advanced Nursing Practice schools. Additional activities are member of Dutch Registration College Nurse Practitioners, and chairman of the board of a primary education school.
