Biography

Marc-David Munk serves as the Chief Medical Officer for CVS MinuteClinic and as Senior Vice President and Associate Chief Medical Officer for CVS Health.  At MinuteClinic, Munk oversees patient care strategies with a focus on ensuring that MinuteClinic continues to provide high-quality and accessible clinical care to patients. As Associate CMO, Munk is guiding development of innovative strategic programming and expanded health care services across the CVS Health enterprise.

Prior to joining CVS in May 2018, Munk was the Chief Medical Officer of Iora Health, a nationally recognized and investor backed company delivering high-impact, consumer-centric primary care to patients in seven states.  Before leading Iora Health, Munk served as Chief Medical Officer of Reliant Medical Group (formerly the Fallon Clinic) in Worcester, Massachusetts. He has also held leadership positions at the University of New Mexico Health System and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Munk received a Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from Colgate University, a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Jefferson Medical College, a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Boston University, and a Master of Science in Health Care Management (MHCM) from Harvard University.
