Letter from PCC's President and CEO

Dear Colleagues,

The Primary Care Collaborative’s (PCC) 2020 Annual Conference will bring together top leaders across all major stakeholder groups who are passionate about making primary care better and more equitable – an endeavor even more pressing given the challenges our country is currently facing. Crisis as Catalyst: Reimagining Primary Care – a highly interactive virtual conference – will be held November 30 and December 1 online and everywhere.

While there can never be a substitute for the learning, networking and engagement that happen face to face at national conferences like ours, we are excited about the ways in which we will be able to leverage our online platform to provide forums for participants to meet in small and larger groups and interact with our speakers.

This year’s conference will showcase how primary care is adapting and innovating with respect to payment and delivery to address issues catalyzed by COVID-19, including health inequities. The conference will also highlight the PCC’s work in furthering a comprehensive approach to primary care, leveraging technology, and broadening the care team. By doing so, primary care is better able to respond to patient needs and preferences and work more in tandem with the community and public health.

This is certainly a momentous year with the COVID-19 pandemic, the economic downturn, and racial inequities being brought to the forefront. The PCC has been part of all of these developments through our ongoing advocacy and policy work at the national and state levels, our participation in the regular national COVID-19 surveys of primary care clinicians and patients with the Larry A. Green Center, and by redoubling our efforts toward health equity. And as our country’s political future becomes clearer after the election, the PCC conference will be a critical way to convene diverse stakeholders to chart a course of transformation of primary care into the future.

In addition to the 2-day conference, PCC Executive Members will be invited to participate in a post-conference workshop on December 2, where state and national leaders will share updates on their efforts to re-orient state spending toward primary care and move to value-based payment models, with the goal of integrating behavioral health, enhancing the breadth of the care team, and better connecting  to the community.

Benefits of sponsorship

As a sponsor of the 2020 PCC Virtual Annual Conference, your organization will be recognized as a thought leader and supporter of advanced primary care, including the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH), among hundreds of diverse participants at a critical time in our nation’s history and the evolution of our health system.

We offer a wide range of sponsorship opportunities to suit diverse needs. I encourage you to review this prospectus and respond quickly so you secure the sponsorship that is the best fit for your organization.

I hope you will be part of our virtual conference as we consider how to leverage the many challenges in our midst in order to reimagine primary care and chart a transformative path forward.

Cordially,

Ann Greiner

About the Conference

The Primary Care Collaborative Annual Conference is the premier event for leaders who care passionately about advancing primary care. Happening virtually in 2020 on the online conference platform Hopin, the conference will bring together hundreds of diverse stakeholders for keynotes, panels and networking, with these objectives:

  • Educate. Gain a deeper understanding about how primary care is changing — due to COVID-19, market forces, and policy — and the effects on patients, particularly those of color, and clinicians.
  • Inspire. Learn from primary care innovators who have demonstrated success in strengthening primary care, enhancing its value, and making it more responsive to patient needs/preferences.
  • Unite. Build working partnerships and a shared vision across diverse sectors about how to address primary care challenges, including addressing health inequities

This is your opportunity to learn from innovators, make valuable contacts, and develop relationships with leaders who will be reimagining primary care. In attendance will be the people who are evolving medical homes and accountable care organizations, experimenting with new payment, delivery and benefit design models, and engaging with patients and families in new ways. Sponsorship of this conference is a wise investment by any organization that wants to understand and be a part of a new chapter for primary care.

There is no better opportunity to feature your organization and/or product among hundreds of the most influential leaders in primary care nationwide and to show your strong support for those individuals and organizations putting in place creative strategies to achieve the Shared Principles for Primary Care, which over 350 organizations have signed onto.

Executive Members of the PCC are strongly encouraged to participate and will receive substantial discounts on conference sponsorships.

What Recent Attendees Have Said About the Conference:

Start to finish – great and inspiring sessions that were well-organized with useful content and engaging speakers.

I thought the panel discussions were a very effective way to review current state and opportunities for future ideas.

Thank you for including the patient voice! Keep up the good work, which validates and confirms that everyone has a right to have a voice in how primary care is established, maintained and sustained in our country.

The content helps me greatly in designing our population health models and applying it in my own work.

Thanks to our sponsors!
